"We originally planned to stay at Hotel Sherpani for just one night, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for 7 more nights! Because it’s a smaller hotel, we received incredible, personalized care. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and genuinely family-oriented, our kids actually made friends with everyone on the team! The food was consistently good, and the service was top-notch. For our 7-night extension, we moved into their 2-bedroom suite apartment, which came with a spacious living room and a kitchen. It was absolutely perfect for a family, giving us plenty of space while still enjoying full hotel services. The location is tucked a little way inside the main road, but that worked out perfectly for us because there was absolutely no traffic noise. Plus, they have convenient parking available on-site. It’s not the cheapest place in town, but the quality of service and the peace of mind are worth every penny. We can't thank the staff enough for making our family vacation so successful. Highly recommended!"

"This is a beautiful, well appointed, clean, comfortable hotel. I highly recommend you stay here whilst you visit Kathmandu. The staff are very helpful, efficient and thorough. The breakfast options are delicious and fresh. The interior design of the rooms are unique and beautiful. The courtyard is a nice spot for an afternoon beer and some snacks. The hotel is off the main streets of Thamel so you can escape the hustle and bustle but it is very close to everything you need. 10/10."

"Extremely comfortable stay with gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff were very helpful. However, there was a large touring group in the hotel and our left luggage was mixed up with theirs and it was a mess. The baggage tag did not have the number of baggages and we had to drive back to collect one. Thank goodness that we remembered in time and didn’t drive far."

"We stayed in the suite 902. The wifi did not work for most of our stay. The electric outlets are so loose your charger does not stay in the wall you have to prop up the bottom of the charger with a book or glass to keep it from falling out of the socket. The light switches are in odd locations, for example to turn on the bathroom light you have to go to the far side of the room to a group of switches by the bedside and turn on all lights. The coffee offered in the room was nescafe packets. Bottom line, for $100/night this would have been fine, but for $300+/night it was overpriced and not worth it."
