"We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! "Very convenient to/from Lyon Airport (located in Terminal 2). Check-in was fast. Staff are friendly (for French people lol). Fitness Centre was well equipped for a quick workout and had a water fountain plus towels available. Room was small but sufficient. Very clean. Bed was a bit hard though. Room was very hot at night though, was not easy to change the temperature. It was at 25.5 degrees celcius and only went down to 24.5 degrees!!! It was boiling in there. Breakfast was plentiful. Would suggest they offer already boiled eggs please so people aren’t waiting for them to boil themselves. "
