"Absolutely loved our stay at Blackwood Valley Suites. Our tent and gazebo broke during the strong winds the night before and we didn’t know where else to go. Irwin was very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud and the shower after a rough night in a tent was truly bliss. Plus it’s only a short drive from Balingup and Bridgetown. Beautiful scenery and just so peaceful. We will definitely be back!"

"Our room was well appointed & clean…which we were relieved about as we had read a bad review the day before. Restaurant was not open as it was Sunday so we enjoyed dinner at Tall Timbers Brewery."

"Quaint rustic cottage, very spacious and delightfully decorated. We wanted for nothing, plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Large TV, comfy sofas, large dining table, comfy warm beds and choice of air conditioning and/or log fire. Many different birds visited and we heard the wildlife in the evening. Conveniently located close to Bridgetown. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Many thanks."

"Just loved this property, everything there you could want, so comfy, and where it is situated was perfect - our 11 month old puppy had a wonderful adventure everyday."

"We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage had everything we needed and was so cosy, comfortable and relaxing. The bedding was especially comfy, which made it even nicer to come back and settle in at the end of the day.The whole place had such a peaceful, relaxing feel and it was exactly what we wanted for our weekend away. The hosts were absolutely lovely — so friendly and welcoming, while also giving us our space and never being intrusive.There honestly wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay. We felt completely comfortable and at home and would happily have stayed longer.We will definitely be staying here again when we're back in the Bridgetown area. Highly recommend! "

"Our stay was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. The view was absolutely stunning, we also loved the sauna, it made the whole experience feel so relaxing and special.The place itself was incredibly cozy and welcoming, even our dogs loved it. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would absolutely come back!"
