"Booked this Property for my 50th with a group of Friends. It was a bit of an adventure getting to the Property! Once we found it, the drive down to the house itself was an adventure! It was pouring Rain so that didn't help much, but the road is rough! Your definitely need a 4wd to get down the driveway. Once we arrived at the house though it was perfect! Fireplace which was great as it was cool,everything about the house was perfect. Bedrooms were very cosy. Lots of firewood for the house fire & the outside firepit. Nice veranda on which to sit and eat breakfast looking over the mountains. We went walking to the river. had a great meal outside watching the sun set on the mountains. It was a great stay!"

"Mountain retreat was the perfect secluded spot for us to relax with our family. We loved our stay - the wildlife, the ability to let our dogs play out the front of the cabin, a hearty fire with the stars above for dinner. Just perfect! We love Mudgee, so we'll be back for sure. Janene was also amazing with communication of the road condition following a lot of rain, so thanks so much."

"Ideal place to relax. Beautiful location. Everything you need in the cabin together with gas bbq nearby. Fire pit perfect to enjoy the stars at night. Hosts Mandy & Jacob were great, so helpful. Hope we can return"

"My recent stay at Turon Gates Luxury Glamping Tent surpassed all expectations. The tent was beautifully styled with attention to detail, a comfortable bed and a spacious lounge area perfect for movie nights.The fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom with a delightful bath added to the comfort of our stay. Complimentary wine and honey were thoughtful touches. There are a few walks on the property. We did a section of the Devil's Climb up to sunset lookout, stunning view! We also saw a lot of wildlife e.g. deer, goats, ponies, horses, and various bird species. The only recommendation is that we wish the tents were a bit more spaced out since we could hear our neighbour blasting music from 7.30am and again late at night. Overall, we highly recommend Turon Gates to anyone for a getaway!"

"We had a wonderful stay here and felt very looked after by our hosts who were super friendly and welcoming. The spa bath is just a short drive a way (near the bigger cabin and main house) and was wonderful to swim in while watching the sunset. We loved taking our car up the 4wd track to the gate of Wollemi National Park where we enjoyed a hike up the mountain. The cabin was cosy and comfortable. We loved being in such a remote area with such a beautiful landscape! Looking forward to visiting again one day."

"We spent 2 weeks in the region with Jamaicaville as our base only leaving the property to go to Newcastle. Most days were spent lazing around, short walks and watching the kangaroos & the diversity of birds at sunrise & sunset. It was very hot on most days, however the house was very well insulated with the rammed earth walls. Everything we needed was supplied & if we had any questions, Sarah the property manager was very responsive. Jamaicaville is a fabulous location to get away from technology and the hussle of modern living !!"
