This place was everything advertised and more. There were a lot of details that made the stay more comfortable than some VRBOs. 1) enough hangers 2)kleenex in every room 3) extra towels in a linen closet 4) kitchen stocked with things you need to cook and eat comfortably 5) enough drawer and cabinet space to unpack if you want to 6) super clear communication 7) labels on light switches and fans. It's all these thoughful details and more that made this stay wonderful! The views were amazing too!
Love the Kumalani properties. Access to 2 resorts minutes away is perfect for families. We love the location - close to many areas we like to explore like Waimea, Hawi, etc.
We had a lovely stay and met some of the residents and vacation renters at the pool. Everyone was very welcoming.
The condo is in a great location and the sunset views from the condo are beautiful.
Perfectly appointed condo, very spacious and comfortable. Views from the lanai were amazing and we enjoyed sitting and watching the sunset each evening. One of the best features is the access to the two resorts which have outstanding beaches and facilities. Very central location in order to explore the island . We would definitely stay at this condo again!
This condo was perfect for our family of four. It was plenty big and the sunsets from the balcony were amazing. The location was perfect for us and for what we had planned and it was very clean and quiet.
We had a great stay in this place. The location was perfect and I loved the access to both the Hapuna and Mauna Kea resorts. House was comfy and the property managers very available and responsive when we needed them. The house would be even better with some updates (to hard fixtures) but there is nothing wrong with it - I just like interior desing and this place hasnt changed since it was built. A great property, I would stay there again.
We really enjoyed our time at Kumulani. Super close to Mauna Kea. Highly recommend. Very well acquainted accommodations with everything you need. Nice towels and bedding. The amenities at Mauna Kea were important to us - loved that we could do the resort package and have access to Mauna Kea & Hapuna! Thank you again.
Everything was exactly as described, except even better! Super clean, you can tell when mgmt cares, and it shows in this property. Get the beach pass- that is where we spent our days. Note it is a long drive from town and groceries, but if you are looking for comfort and beach, you cannot beat this location!!
Enjoyed our place immensely. All the amenities of home. Lots of natural light, everything you need to cook /grill, clean and comfortable queen bed. Spacious!
Also, beach chairs and floatation toys for the community pool or to take to a beach.
And…. The availability to access the Mauna Kea and Hapuna beach hotel amenities for a daily fee.
Would definitely recommend, need a car.

We never got text with codes to get in, never got email with beach dat pass info or where to pick them up. But we loved the condo!
We highly enjoyed our stay at the condo!
Walking distance to the community pool and hot tub. The condo was very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed including coffee filters.
Highly recommend getting the day pass to Mauna Kea! This makes beach access a breeze.
The property manager were very responsive to any questions I had. The condo had a great breeze during the day and we turned the ac on at night.

We have been staying in condos on the Kohala coast for 13 years. While this unit was not
over the top fancy it met everyone’s needs and was probably the cleanest and best maintained unit we have seen in years.
We will definitely book again.
Communication leading up to the trip was clear and thorough. When we arrived the property was well lit, cool (temp) and very well kept. The grounds and neighborhood are gorgeous and the daily fee for accessing both local resorts was well worth it. Although, the condo is so nice I found myself not wanting to leave! Regardless, the place was very clean, well supplied, and beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was also a nice relaxing, quiet area to get away.
