Cosy cottage, wildlife, space to explore, dog friendly, 3km to Tathra beach

Kangarutha Cottage is Close to Tathra on the edge of tall coastal forest. The Kalaru to Tathra bike path is right outside the property gate giving easy access to town, or the mountain bike trails, either on foot or by bike. The Farm is ideally situated to access the Coastal beauty of Bournda National park. The Farm itself is on 240 acres, and it also offers great walks and picnic spots near hidden lakes, and plenty of wildlife. Horses are agisted on the property and it is possible to bring your own horse with you for a daily fee - contact owner for information

The Cottage is cosy, (sleeps 4) with 1 main queen bedroom and a small bedroom with 2 singles ( or 1 King when zipped) and one bathroom in the main building - all linen is supplied. Cook up a treat in the large well equipped kitchen or on the Weber BBQ in the covered courtyard. Relax and enjoy the country view from the loungeroom . Watch TV, play games, or read a book. There is an option of a wood heater or reverse cycle heating.
A tennis court and basket ball ring will keep the kids busy.
The house is surrounded by established fenced gardens. so up to 2 dogs are welcome.(no pups thanks)

NB. Optional extra: A third queen bedroom (linen supplied) and a bathroom is situated in an adjoining ‘lodge’, ideal for grand parents or extra couple. It is accessed from the main house by a covered walkway. A long single bed and a floor mattress if required can also accommodate an extra 2 persons in the small lounge area in the lodge (BYO linen for extra 2 ).- ask owner for details before booking.

If you need to work while at the cottage there is a separate room in the Lodge with a large desk and chair.

Kangarutha farm is within 5 km to Tathra beach and old Steamer wharf as well as cafes, clubs, essential shops and National parks nearby. Check out the Beautiful Bega Valley and Mimosa Rocks NP or we can help you arrange a kayak experience on the Bega River with its hidden secrets.
