Charming Hale Mokolea in Lanikai –2BR, 2BA, Full Kitchen

Nestled in the beachside community of Lanikai, Kailua, this fully furnished home is over 1400 square feet of island style living. Beautifully yet simply decorated, this unit is the whole upper half of the main house. The entrance is at mid-floor level with a Brazilian cherry staircase leading to upper and lower levels. The caretaker lives in the lower level.

Your home away from home has a large living area that divides into two sections: one with a comfy couch for watching television; the other, hidden behind carved panels from Borneo, for reading or computer work.

Down the hall is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an adjoining bathroom.
Across the hall is a blue bedroom that has two twin beds and its own separate bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Stay cool with ceiling fans in each room.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes and glasses as well as pots and pans. Just a few steps away is a laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer as well as a sink for pre-soaking clothes and substantial storage.

Landscaped with tropical plants as well as a very large monkey pod tree that spans two properties, the garden is home to numerous songbirds (manu mele), providing you with morning serenades!

We are approximately a five to seven minute walk to the world famous Lanikai Beach, undoubtedly, the best swimming beach in all of Hawai'i. The town of Kailua is only a seven minute drive. It has plenty of shopping including the Whole Foods Store and some great restaurants. Even closer is the Kailua Beach Center that has kayaks and other ocean toys for rent.

Wonderful place to stay in Lanikai

This was a spacious and well-maintained upper floor of a two-story story home with separate entry. Convenient parking near the front entry, with plenty of street parking as well. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed, and the beach is only an easy 10 minute walk. The Lanikai loop is a great place for early morning or evening walks. The only thing we felt was lacking was an outdoor lanai where we could have meals or visitors. But all in all highly recommend!

Our family loved our stay in Lanikai. The space was large and our young kids loved playing both inside and outside. The location to local amenities (groceries, etc.) was excellent, as was the proximity to many beautiful beaches.

Lanakai house

The space was beautiful and relaxing. It is short walk to beach. I enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood is and that you can see the ocean from the entryway. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing month in the country’s most beautiful beach town

Lanikai paradise

My family and I stayed at eliza's property for 36 days this summer. The house was amazing and just a short walk to the beach. There is an outdoor shower in the driveway that comes in handy when you return from the beach, or to wash your car. The property is situated in a tropical setting that really accentuates the sound of the rain. Eliza is amazing and attentive to every need. She has a nice backyard area with a table and a BBQ. She is very inviting and will share an evening cocktail with you. She was our first friend on the island and we feel like she will be for life. If you have a furry friend Eliza has a really friendly Portuguese water dog that loved to play in the backyard with our puppy. If the house was a 3 bedroom we would have stayed permanent. Overall our experience at this house was an adventure that our family will never forget. Thank you again Eliza for sharing your home with our family.
