Maison de Campagne en Pleine Nature au Calme

An 18th-century house situated on a 1,500 m² lot surrounded by meadows. It is located 3 km from the town square of Jumilhac-le-Grand—a 10-minute bike ride or a half-hour walk. You can enjoy a large private space on the edge of the woods and meadows—it’s the perfect place to rest and relax.
A large courtyard provides parking for cars and access to the private grounds. A barn is nearby but is closed as it contains farm equipment and tools.
Access to this building and its surroundings is restricted for security reasons.
This nearly fully renovated stone house features the following on the ground floor:
A large living room with a sofa and two armchairs, as well as a long table and six chairs, a television, and storage closets.
The kitchen includes a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a washing machine. You’ll also find the dishes and kitchen utensils needed to prepare your meals, a kettle, a toaster, and tea towels. For cooking, a gas stove and a glass-ceramic cooktop are available. A gas cylinder is located inside the gas stove door (in the countryside, there are no other alternatives). Pots and pans are provided for both cooking methods.
A door leads outside, allowing you to dine on the large terrace, which is partially sheltered by an awning. There you’ll find a table, chairs, and lounge chairs.
Amenities include: a high chair, a travel cot and mattress, an ironing board and iron, a microwave, a standard electric coffee maker, and a two-burner glass-ceramic cooktop.

The bedrooms:
One on the ground floor features a large 140/190 bed with a new mattress, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers.
Upstairs, a large bedroom featuring a queen-size bed (140/190) with a new mattress, a wardrobe, and a television.
A second bedroom with one 100/190 bed and one 130/190 bed, along with a wardrobe. (One mattress is a new memory foam model, and the other is in excellent condition.)
Mattress protectors are provided for all beds, as well as pillows, bolsters, and comforters. Each is protected by covers that should not be used as is but must be covered with pillowcases and bolster covers.
Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels, and bath towels are provided only upon reservation.
The bathroom includes a shower and a sink; the toilet is separate.
Inside the property: a basketball hoop, pétanque set, and ball games. Books for children and adults.
Upon arrival, you’ll find basic supplies: salt, pepper, oil, sugar, a few coffee filters, some coffee, tea and/or herbal teas, trash bags, cleaning supplies, shower gel and shampoo, and toilet paper.
Cleaning fees:
If the cleaning option has not been paid to Stayz, the tenants must clean the property themselves upon departure. They agree to clean the property, leaving it in the same condition as it was upon arrival. A thorough inspection will be conducted both upon arrival and upon departure. A cleaning deposit (80€) will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure provided this condition is met—that is, the property must be as clean as it was upon arrival.

RECREATION
Nearby (3-minute bike ride): The Jumilhac-le-Grand swimming pool is an outdoor facility open during the summer season. It features a large swimming pool. A sun deck provides a place to relax after swimming. Lifeguards offer swimming lessons and aqua aerobics classes there.
The town of Jumilhac-le-Grand offers outdoor activities for all nature lovers, including hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Finally, its magnificent castle and museum will fascinate enthusiasts of geology and history. Numerous beautiful walks await you through meadows and woods.
Shops:
In the centre of the village, you’ll find a supermarket, a bakery, and a restaurant; supermarkets and a cinema are located 6 km away.
Recreation: The tourist office is located on the castle square.

It’s possible to book a stay for 3 or 4 nights; please enquire if this is possible based on the calendar and your arrival times (it’s easier if you arrive after 7:00 PM on a Friday, for example, and depart on a Monday, or arrive on a Saturday evening and depart on a Monday after 5:00 PM). For any additional guests not included in the original reservation, a fee of 80 euros per night will be charged.
