"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the owners were very helpful. The house and gardens/grounds are beautiful, it had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. The pool was excellent, there were plenty of chairs and sun loungers for everyone. The pool table/games room was a brilliant addition. We went on the VELO rail in the nearby Corgnac-sur-l'Isle which was great fun."

"A simply wonderful stay in a most beautiful location. The tranquility, stunning views and super pool allowed us to completely relax. The short walk through the countryside into Agonac enabled us not to use transport everyday & the added benefit of the rail station was another plus. "Very comfortable house in a lovely spot (only slight difficulty is the spiral staircase - which could be tricky for some). Especially good if you like fishing with a beautiful lake right outside the front door. Surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful with plenty of nice walks in the area. Host’s really nice and friendly and helpful. Would certainly go back."

"Our family of 4 (+dog) had a lovely couple of weeks in this beautiful & tranquil spot. Perfect pool and terrace for relaxing in the sun … and the surrounding area provides so much to see and do from markets to caves to castles to canoeing! Humphrey the spaniel loved his early morning walks right from our doorstep - with spectacular views of this glorious part of the Perigord! A wonderful stay, so thanks to Mathilde."

"Le très mauvais temps n'a pas permis d'apprécier la région, ni les extérieurs du gîte (piscine...), dommage. Toutefois Brantôme tout proche vaut le détour et Sarlat aussi mais plus loin. Le gite est spacieux, beaux espaces, etc. Mais les propriétaires ont dû improviser des solutions de remplacement de sanitaires."

The pool is absolutely lovely particularly with the resident frogs, but the alarm did sound a few times for no apparent reason (including 5 am in the morning once).
