"Our stay at this cabin was amazing! The cabin itself is beautiful! I was surprised by how clean it was. We had everything we needed. The lakefront and forest around the cabin are stunning. The outdoor shower was my favorite part of the stay. One night we sat on the couch and watched the moonlight on Lake Superior for hours. If this was my cabin, I would never leave it. I am grateful for the chance to stay here."

"Quaint little cottage with beautiful views of Lake Superior. Close proximity to many of the local attractions. Quiet minus the noise from the highway near the property, but that was offset by the beautiful scenic views and overall relaxing atmosphere. The cottage was perfect for two, and would be comfortable for four. It was very clean, tidy, and cozy cottage with attention to detail. We absolutely loved our stay, and if we have the opportunity in the future, we would happily rent again. Thank you!"

"We had four adults in our party. The bunkhouse felt very roomy, bright and cozy. We all slept comfortably. With the roll out mattress (all mattresses fitted with fresh, clean sheets) under the bunk bed and the cushions around the table, sleeping arrangement design was well thought out. The host communicated via Vrbo email and direct messaging, which made it very easy. Excellent communication along with all the detailed information a traveller could want/need - even a video link on how to operate the indoor portable toilet.The kitchen had a large, open counter space for prepping meals. Though there is not a stove, there were plenty of cooking options: a small propane grill outside, a hot plate, microwave, and convection oven/toaster. We appreciated the filtered water pump in the kitchen sink and the multiple jugs of water available. Not having to haul in water is a huge deal.It was more of a forrest experience than a lake experience. Though the bunkhouse is close to Lake Superior, it was hard to see the lake through the trees. There is a large cabin next door but we still felt we had a very secluded, peaceful experience. There is a small private deck in the back of the bunkhouse. I feel the bunkhouse experience could be enhanced with a larger front deck. I was told that it was in the works/plans.As someone who has done a fair amount of cabin rentals and camping on the North Shore, this is a GREAT value/bargain for all the conveniences and location! Recommend!"

"What a charming little place to relax, recharge, and escape the daily hustle and bustle! We were looking for a quick get away to unwind and this was the perfect spot. Sitting by the fire gave us the chance to slow down, reconnect, and truly enjoy the peaceful surroundings.Our only regret is not booking one more night! The hosts are incredible and have thoughtfully provided everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this hidden gem and look forward to making this annual trip!"

"Lovely and quiet location, yet convenient to Grand Marais stores. The loft was clean and pleasantly decorated, well-lighted and with a nice view and ability to hear the waves on the Lake Superior shore. The hosts were friendly and helpful. (The only drawback is that the shower is tiny and the showerhead is placed very high on the wall. With the water only hitting the top of my head, and the shower stall being so small, taking a shower was more of a chore than a relaxing clean.) Nonetheless my husband and I appreciate and highly recommend this loft."
