"Overall the Sooke Harbour House had a feel of a luxury boutique hotel/resort. It was so enjoyable to stay on the property for sunset drinks on our room's deck, then a short walk to the dining room for an elegant meal either in the covered patio area or dining room. The bed was so comfortable with crisp sheets that it was hard to have to get up in the morning! But a nice stroll of the property and adjacent nature walk with a coffee and delicious pastry made in house from the attached coffee bar was a great way to start the day - followed up by yet another amazing meal for breakfast before we carried on on way. We will definitely be back for another stay in the fall when we can enjoy the room's fireplace while we watch the ocean's tide roll in and out. The staff were all so wonderful!"

"We had a great time at the lodge. It was a basic room (which is what we expected at the price) but we had everything we needed, including coffee maker, towels, dish rack, dish soap, cutlery, can opener, microwave, central to everything. Other reviewers are correct about the Internet/TV being slow but we didn't care. One of the housekeepers heard my husband call me a birthday girl and I got a note from the lodge that they heard and wanted to give me a complimentary sauna. It was an excellent hour and a half. The sauna room is lovely and has it's own covered patio with chairs and a cold plunge pool. Would stay here again!"

"This was an awesome stay in Sooke! Great location and the place was huge! You can really tell that a lot of thought and consideration was taken, there were snacks upon arrival and the fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, coffee cream and bread. It was a nice touch. Bonus was that they had the sports channel, and my husband was able to watch the NHL draft. Would defiantly stay here again."

"The hotel was very nice. Rooms were spacious. The only thing was the air conditioning units on the balconies were extremely noisy, loud. You could not sit out on the balcony as it sounded like a turbine engine. Could not enjoy the view of the golf course."
