"Our time at Sooke Harbour House was amazing. The location is second to none. The whole property has been newly renovated and the rooms have gorgeous front on ocean views. The restaurants also have great views and the food was extraordinary.. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"The view from the room was excellent. The onsite restaurant, bar, and coffee “grab and go” were great. Excellent property. The only surprising thing was that the room doesn’t have air conditioning. They may not need it most of the time, however, it would have been nice to know ahead of time. We opened the small windows and used the fan provided. The windiest had screens. The sliding door did not. Leaving the sliding door open resulted in mosquitos in the room. I’m not sure if there is enough airflow with just the two small windows. Perhaps put a screen on the sliding door? It is easy to walk the Whiffin Spit from the hotel. Parking is easy. "
