"There are several unique features in the Costa Mesa Marriott. Location— Walk to the Orange County Art Museum, Segerstrom Theater of the Arts, South Coast Plaza Shopping Center, and a wonderful small lake to walk your dog. The staff are professional, friendly, and accommodating, Dog friendly hotel. Wonderful small lake to walk a dog. The restaurant has a variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Close to Disneyland or one hour drive to several Los Angeles attractions."

"I give this hotel a 5 star for location. It is just a few steps away from a whole slew of restaurants, so convenient! The staff was also 5 star, very friendly and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed about is the included breakfast. I wish they would label the hot food because they were local food which I didn’t recognise. Also, they were slow to replenish the fruits. Then, I tried to find the ATM which they said was on the 6th floor but when I went there, no sign, no directions, just 2 hallways of rooms, confusing so I gave up locating it."

"The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We selected the hotel for its location close to the airport (as we were on a layover) with a shuttle and an onsite restaurant. It served our purpose well for those reasons. It did advertise a pool but it was closed in the winter although we would have used it had it been open. The website should state that the pool is only open in the summer. The exercise room was limited and a bit crowded but we still used it."

"The hotel was clean, the staff was wonderful, and the location was perfect. A couple of people in the group forgot things and they were able to find items at the mall which is attached to the hotel. The location is very safe and there are many restaurant options close by. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Johannesburg."

"Pro: Clean & well maintained. Food at breakfast & dinner was very good. Staff responded to concerns in a timely manner. Con: Thermostat remote didn’t match instructions provided on how to set it. Both body soap & shampoo were a soap bar, not a liquid. Bottles of water were not provided & instead, had to fill up a carafe provided from a dispenser in hallway."
