"The Surf Shack was just a darling little place to stay. Kitchen and dining area were particularly nice.Access to the beach was directly across the street, so convenient.It is located in a great spot, easy to get to so many places. But best of all we could just walk down a block and we were at Surf and Spoon, one of our most favorite places on the beach!"

"We rented Sand Pebble for our family gathering. Our 3 children and all our grandchildren...A total of 20 of us.Several 20 year old and a 9 and a 12 year old.The house and it's location offered something for all of us.Great beach access and the pool was large and very nice.The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of seating for us all.It's a short distance to most anything you would want or need.The property management was very good in communication and very prompt and courteous taking care of a couple minor issues for us.After our second installment we were told that no personnel items were supplied....They really mean it! One roll of toilet paper and paper towel...no soap, for 20 people who converged on the house after long road trips.......Our only suggestion would be that at 3000/night at least one roll of toilet paper and a hotel size soap in each bathroom would not be too much to supply for a starter.Just be sure you come with your supplies. We had our paper products but were short on soap.We all loved the house and would highly recommend it for any family or large group."

"The cottage was great and the location even better. All you need for a memorable and affordable vacay in the OBX. I've been coming to the outer banks for 40 years and had never eaten at Tortugas. Since it was located directly across the street, we took advantage of it's proximity. Delicious! "
