Airport pickup was seamless, and we were welcomed with rum swizzles, setting the tone for a warm and thoughtful stay. David Dodwell Jr. and the entire team were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every guest feel special. The setting is breathtaking. Every room offers panoramic views of Bermuda’s iconic blue-green water, and it never gets old. The property is intimate and beautifully designed, with plenty of tucked-away spots that make it feel like you have the place to yourself, even when fully booked. The private beach is pristine and quiet, with complimentary kayaks, snorkels, and boogie boards that make it easy to enjoy the water. The buffet breakfast was consistently delicious, and the Friday night fire pit with live music was a perfect way to start the weekend. What truly sets The Reefs apart is the care and consistency of the entire staff. Thoughtful touches like evening turndown and small personal details made the experience feel special throughout. We came for our anniversary and left already planning our return."

"Room was very comfortable and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was more than adequate. There's a drugstore within walking distance that has a small grocery area. Large grocery stores are a short drive or bus ride. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk. Busses will take you anywhere on the island. "

"If you’re looking for an elegant, pristine hotel set beside a stunning azure‑coloured ocean, this is the place. From the balconies, you can sometimes spot whales passing by. The property itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained, with three different pools and easy access to other parts of the island. During our stay, the room alarm went off a few times over several days. I never complained, and when staff came to check, I simply mentioned what had been happening. The next day, I returned to my room to find a beautiful bottle of rum with a handwritten apology, thanking me for my understanding and for being a valued guest. I couldn’t bring it home, but the gesture meant a lot and spoke volumes about their hospitality. One thing to note is the relaxed, laid‑back culture, which is part of the charm. You really do need to slow down and lean into it. There is a beach on one side of the hotel, accessible by walking over rocks when the tide is low, a lovely walk, by the way. When the tide is high, access requires taking the road, which isn’t very walkable, so a rental car or bus is recommended. The location is excellent and close to some of the most beautiful parts of the island, including Horseshoe Bay and several small, picturesque coves. If you visit in the off‑season, it truly feels like you have these beautiful beaches to yourself. "

Everything was great!. Natalie the owner was so kind and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the place is stocked with everything. It was so incredible to wake up to the beautiful ocean view and swinging in the hammock was so relaxing. This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. I had a great vacation in Bermuda!"
