"The hotel location is good if your visiting Airbus. The hotel food/breakfast facilities are poor. If there is more than one person ordering food in the evening then it takes a age for your food to be ready. No fridge, water or wardrobe in your room. Only good for a couple of nights maximum. If your planning a longer stay look elsewhere. "

"This was an interesting new type of hotel stay for us. My mother grew up in Altona in the 50s after the war. I hadn’t been to Hamburg in about 20 years so we decided to visit pre-Christmas for the markets (way too crowded and difficult public transportation during it). The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, induction cooktop, convection oven, deep well sink as well as cookware and utensils. It was relatively quiet and situated. Typical German hard mattress and too many smokers outside every door. I couldn’t live in a city like this, but an occasional visit should only take a few days off my life. "

"The location was great. The check-in was seamless. There was ongoing construction, which wasn't mentioned in the description, but I did read it in the reviews. We lost hot water one day, The host wasn't very communicative and either had incorrect information about the resolution of the issue or just didn't want to deal with it. nd the host initially said the unit was in the neighboring apartment, so we didn't have to hang around for the repair. Then, they said it was fixed, but it wasn't, and they finally stopped communicating with me. We did get the hot water back later in the day. So, not the end of the world, but it would have been nice to receive a response, an apology, something. We were there from 09/10 to 09/15. The listing says they supply towels. There were 3 threadbare bath towels and 3 threadbare hand towels. Having better quality towels and at least 2 bath towels each seems reasonable. I would urge the host to check out Flohmarkt or Garagenflohmarkt or a Hofflohmarkt. Maybe even estate sales in germany, "
