Perfect Spot

This was a great spot on the river with great lodging! It was a great place to rest and relax and the short drive into Jefferson made it even better! Access to the river was super easy because of the boat ramp and that was a plus for us. We appreciated that the house was stocked with those items you sometimes forget or need in a pinch. We had the privilege of meeting the owners and they seem like exceptional people! Book here- you won't be disappointed!!!

Joli Bayou is amazing! It's everything my family needed plus more. Love the location and the peacefulness of the the entire property. We highly recommend this property. We will be coming back from Oklahoma to stay again!

Girls' trip

From the moment we drove up to the property we were in love. I had a loss in my family (my spouse), and needed this getaway. The boat house was a source of solace for me. The rest of the property, including the dock (!!!!), full kitchen, and ease of check in and check out was wonderful. Will be back.

Perfect, Perfect Perfect!!!

We needed an escape to recharge our physical and mental batteries and Joli's Bayou provided the charge that we needed. The home is off the beaten path, but is well worth the journey. The attention to detail, the cleanliness and the accommodations were just great. The host and hostess couldn't have been any nicer. We were welcomed with snacks, some of the most comfortable beds and some excellent fishing during our downtime. We WILL return to Jefferson and this will be our retreat Thanks to Roxanne and Burt, you guys are the Best!!

East TX at its Best!

My family multi generational family spent a weekend at this lovely property. It's spacious, well appointed & equipped, and very clean. The security gate and fenced yard was especially nice.I highly recommend!

Country Bayou

Very nice property. Bugs and mosquitoes was a problem outside, so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck outside. The road is quite rough going about 2 miles into the dense woods to the property location. We enjoyed antique shopping and restaurants in the town of Jefferson. All in all the property was very accommodating and peaceful.
