"Wonderful, friendly welcoming from host. They were very responsive and helpful. Because this place is high up in the mountain, it can be hard to get a cab to come pick you up at 8:30 to go into town. Best to perhaps prearrange a trusted cab for your ride. Not knowing this (and we arrived late into town via shuttle), we didn’t have enough food for our teenage son. When I asked host how we can get into town to feed our “starving” teenager, they let us know it’s hard to do so in the evening, but then immediately brought us a bunch of their food for him! That was an incredibly generous gesture! Thank-you for being so thoughtful!! All that said, it’s a 20 minute steep but doable walk down to the bottom and maybe 10 minutes more depending on your fitness level climbing back up. Well worth walking! Their cab drivers were wonderful. The place was perfect for us and we felt right at home. Good selection of spices for cooking. The grounds are stunning! They put a lot of time and effort into their place and it shows. Lots of places to sit, relax and enjoy your surroundings. There’s a tiny grocery store an easy walk away and a restaurant as well if it’s open. The area is very peaceful and quiet and we felt totally safe (even as a woman walking down the mountain alone). Lots of friendly locals greeting you while walking. I would highly recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable."

"The place was absolutely amazing, truly enchanting. The views from the property were amazing and the air was always filled with the aroma of flowers. The food was average compared to the food in town. One suggestion for the staff would be to man the front desk 24/7 for guests. "

"Although the facilities are acceptable, my overall experience was mixed. While the rest of the staff was very nice, helpful, and accommodating, we had a major issue with one specific female staff member. Upon arrival, she was quite rude and flatly refused to answer basic questions about our reservation, stating that she would not assist us until 3:00 PM. When we returned at that time and expressed our frustration regarding her treatment to another staff member, she finally apologized; however, it left a very unpleasant feeling due to the noticeable difference in the way she treated tourists compared to national guests. It is disappointing to encounter that kind of attitude from one individual, as it overshadowed the positive service provided by the rest of the team.""
