"Lovely room and the beds were so comfortable! We followed advance about the parking in a very close car park so cheap and easy. We had an issue with towels which was sorted out immediately and communication has been great. The only thing we’d have liked is the ability to make a cup of tea, only a coffee machine was in the room, and they don’t get hot enough for tea. Small thing and wouldn’t stop us from coming back! Fab place. "

"An absolutely magnificent stay at this property. The best one I have ever stayed in. The property is big, but cosy and comfortable, every bedroom is impeccable and the beds are comfortable with no expense spared. Kitchen is well equipped and functional. We were blessed with incredible weather meaning we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the views with every meal outside. A couple of teeny tiny things that didn’t effect our stay (such as cleaners forgetting to take their bag of linen), but owners were apologetic and helpful. Obviously the property is expensive, but for the size and quality it is totally justifiable. We would love to go again and we LOVED our stay. Thank you!"

"Very pretty buildings! It’s a good location walkable to things in Bangor. Lots of parking. The room however didn’t have AC and it got very hot in late afternoon. The room was clean and comfortable and had a desk. Sound was a little noisy from people talking in the central courtyard area. Otherwise this was a comfortable stay overall. "

"Lovely big room overlooking the Menai Straits. Had a meal in the restaurant good but limited choice during to selling out. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment."

"Superb accommodation, bungalow had everything you needed for a lovely holiday. Stayed with son, wife and twins aged nearly 3 - loved the play room. Plenty to do in the area and even though the weather was mixed we found plenty to do to keep the little ones entertained - Sea Zoo and Nature World."

"The majority of the rooms is not in the castle but in a converted barn, paper thin walls so you can hear everything happening in the next room. Some rooms don’t have connected bathrooms so you hear the doors constantly slam as they need to use the toilet. The meal in the restaurant costs 70 each and the amount of food you get is embarrassing, they will hide behind this by saying it’s fancy food but I would not even feed it to my dog. Save your money as even if you are rich and can afford it I suggest you find a different place. "

"Lovely property just a couple of issues * property details didn’t say there was several steep slate steps going up to the property and no handrail which made it difficult for anybody with mobility issues and as the weather is often wet, the steps were quite slippery* Secondly, the back room gets very little natural light as a window is small and over looking a wasteland area and a public footpath. It would benefit from having some kind of privacy window treatment such as wooden slatted Venetian blinds also the room is painted a very dark grey and the lightbulb is very low wattage all of that makes it a very dingy room to stay in as you need to keep the blind down for privacy and the colour of room drains any natural/artificial lightThe kitchen is well equipped, and the Bathroom is luxurious. Really enjoyed our stay."
