"Hotel name is not visible from the street. Parking on site was appreciated. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was 'open' but the cook was not there. After a while they reached her by phone and she would be there in 15 minutes, and was told to take our orders and I paid for two 'specials'. After arrival, the cook/owner(?) came out and chatted with several locals and then brought her dog out to visit with a guests dog. Later she came out with a hairnet on making me optimistic. We had an overnight flight and a long day to this point. One couple came out of the kitchen with full meals. We watched them eat and take home the leftovers. Keep in mind no one had ordered food before us. Next, another couple were served, and ate their food. Clearly they noticed we had been waiting longer. After a while my food came out. 10 or 15 minutes later, my friend was told the cook read the order wrong and was now going to remake her food. By now I was finished, the bartender offered my friend a glass of beer, same as we had on arrival. By then she was past it, we were tired, hungry and angry. Eventually she got her food, and ate alone. Our meals were not worth waiting ..and waiting for. We were there for hours. The cook coming out and apologizing would have been a nice gesture. The next night we went elsewhere for food."

"We arrived on a Thursday and where amazed at the Chateau's architecture, the staff where very welcoming and the room had a fantastic view of the Menia Strait, we looked at the sample menu the staff told us to download but it didn't really appeal to us so we ate at the Four Crowns ( recommended) later we retired to or room for a restful night, the breakfast was very nice though, unfortunately the following night wasn't so restful, there was a reception for - I'm guessing a Wedding, the live music started at 8pm and lasted until 3.20am, I didn't get any sleep until turned 4am, this has completely ruined the stay at the Chateau and won't be returning, at over £330 a night to stay here the bear minimum I would expect is sleep, I think it's just bad management as we were not warned there would be noise, I think the Chateau needs to dedicate the entire building to Weddings so the only people disrupted are the wedding guests themselves and not other paying guests"

"Best hotel ever!!! I found this little nice hotel by chance as I was running a race close by and boy if I liked it! The staff is really nice, the room was big, super comfy and with all you could need. Breakfast is top notch. This is indeed a place I would recommend and I will definitely be back. if I have to find something slightly negative is the Wi.Fi. doesn't work very well, but this is really a minor inconvenience unless you solely rely on that for working"

"Great character property. Good parking for several cars. Easy check in. Couple of decent shorter walks straight from property. Really lovely base to explore Anglesey from, very peaceful surroundings but plenty of shopping available nearby. Definitely recommend and Definitely like to return."

"An absolutely magnificent stay at this property. The best one I have ever stayed in. The property is big, but cosy and comfortable, every bedroom is impeccable and the beds are comfortable with no expense spared. Kitchen is well equipped and functional. We were blessed with incredible weather meaning we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the views with every meal outside. A couple of teeny tiny things that didn’t effect our stay (such as cleaners forgetting to take their bag of linen), but owners were apologetic and helpful. Obviously the property is expensive, but for the size and quality it is totally justifiable. We would love to go again and we LOVED our stay. Thank you!"
