Lo único malo que podría decir, es el desayuno: es un buffet que salvo una o dos cosas (como la fruta) tiene productos de calidad regular, al menos considerando que costaba 10 euros por persona. "Lovely boutique hotel located close to the rural town of Oñati and the Sanctuary of Arantzazu. The hotel is well located both within the Basque countryside but also within walking distance of the town (20 minutes), which affords many bars and restaurants (indeed a disproportionate number for so a small a town - I counted about 20!) I enjoyed the scenery and going on walks in the countryside and there's even the Usako waterfalls a 15-minute walk away. The hotel is well equipped with a restaurant...

"Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Lovely character hotel which could have been made something special with a bit of thought. Great location if you like staying in the centre of a town, not ideal if you don't. Very easy to find but the parking was dire. My room was of good size but needed updating I thought it expensive for what it was. It also was the hottest room I have ever stayed in with a little fan which was less than useless. Food was OK but nothing special. "

Not a lot of options for dining close by, so be prepared to bring things for dining, or travel a little to get to a restaurant during the week (there are restaurants close by in Ea on the weekends, 5 minutes away from the property). Regardless of this, we liked a lot our stay in Udaibai Etxea."
