Nice views

As the "hanare" part of "hanareya" suggests, this location is quite far from what you might consider urban Japan, and as such is a good place for some relaxing quiet time. The ryokan room I had was very spacious despite being the smallest type, especially for one person. There was the genkan (entrance area), a big room for eating, a big room for sleeping, a corridor with chairs/tables and a safety deposit box, a closet with a yukata, a toilet, a separate bathroom sink area, one small indoor...

amazing hotel. the room with onsen is well worth it. free mini bar and access to lev 2 loungs for nibbles and drinks is a great social spot.

The owner is amazing, and we rented the nightwear which was very comfortable! The walls are thin, but we did not have any issues with noisy neighbours. Highly recommend!

We were visiting from Australia. The accommodation in the Onsen were first class. Not much else to do in the hotel as there is no socialising area,no bars etc. If you’re after a supper relaxing couple of days this is a place for you.

This hotel had the most incredible view from our hotel room and the restaurant. I had the most restful sleep on the comfortable Japanese style futons and the staff were very attentive and kind, even giving the children gifts. We loved the onsen and massage services on site. I only wished the indoor pool was open for the children. Maybe it is drained this time of year, but it was a shame not to be able to use it. The outdoor pools were drained too.

Good size room and very clean. Bath facilities were great.

I'm glad I stayed here over night. I felt very welcome. The room was large and very clean. It is in a great location. I would stay again.

Staff(reception and cleaning)are kind and friendly. Good variety of amenities. Close from the station. I will definitely stay again when I go in the area. Highly recommended!

Very nice and quiet resort directly on the beach and beautiful views. Only a few minutes from the train station. Nice public bath with indoor and outdoor areas, sauna and one with bubbles. Several restaurants on site, but booking required and we only ate there once. It’s an isolated small village with almost no other restaurants (one nice ramen place, but not open every day) close, but train to other places only takes a few minutes. During the day hotel also provides shuttle to Kawazu or the...
