"My Husband and I stayed here one night as we passed through on our way home to Missouri. It was very cute and clean. The outhouse was not bad at all. We took to the hike to the lake and explored the beach before coming back to the cabin. Warming up soup for dinner that we brought and reading some books that were n the cabin. The weather was perfect and the fireplace made it nice in the evening and throughout the night. We visited May 29-30, we saw deer turkey and as we left a black bear was on...

"I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times."

"We really enjoyed our cabin that is off the beaten path. Very secluded and peaceful. We visited the Apostle Islands, did some cave kayaking and toured North Shore all the way up to Tettegouche State Park. We couldn't enjoy a campfire due to the takeover by mosquitoes and ticks but they are always nasty in the spring and it has been wetter than normal."

"This cabin is the perfect location for all Northwoods experiences. You are close to lakes, bike trails, the river, restaurants, and the grocery store. The cabin is clean and stocked with plenty of plates/dishes. Enjoy an indoor fireplace or outdoor bonfire. You can be in the woods, but still have all the perks! Sunsets on the front porch too."

"Very nice cabin in the woods. Feels secluded until you hear the cars zipping by since its only about 125 ft from the highway. The lake access is actually a path that runs down to where the lake might have been at one time- it was a was a wooden dock leading into the cattails. After the kids showed me the pick, i opted to not even go down. Host had everything prepared w a nice little bag of coffee beans to throw in the grinder. Thank you!
