"This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. "

"This was even better than expected. So cozy. Plenty of blankets, towels, dishes. Clean. Great communication with owners. We drove up in a snow storm and woke up to a picture perfect winter scene to be staying in this cabin. The owners had someone out to plow snow and shovel for us that day and were good about communicating that. We hope to be back. "
