"This hotel is more like a mini resort. The hotel and grounds are immaculately beautiful with top of the line updates to a historic building. "This hotel sits just outside of town with plenty of space and a relaxed vibe. Great fitness center and outdoor pool. If you are taking public transportation, ignore the directions from Google Maps. There is a bus (Number 17) that runs from the Renens train station (Renens Vd, 14 Avril) and stops near the hotel (Bussigny, Cocagne). Both the bus and train are free with a Lausanne Travel Card, given out to anyone staying in a hotel in the area! Plenty of shopping and dining options along the bus 17 route."

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
