"This was one of the most well equipped kitchens I have seen in a short term rental. From sharp knives to the Maritimes staple - the junk drawer, we wanted for nothing. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The shawls and throws on the sofas were perfect for cuddling in while watching the ocean views.Carolyn was excellent in letting us know how to prepare for spring weather. One of the best hosts I have worked with across any platform."
"The home is lovely and well appointed. Some of our guests would have liked drapes as the morning sun is bright. As we were there in the winter it would have been nice if the heat had been turned on prior to our arrival. And this would have made the homeowner aware of the heat not working in the lower wing. We tried without success. There was no dry wood available for the fireplace which would have been nice to have readily available. We also had a windstorm which pointed out that the French doors in the Master Suite (lower) were unlatched and we needed help getting them latched as it was an unusual method. All in all, we had fun. It was supposed to be a lazy vacation and would come again. The homeowner could step it up if the winter season is something he is serious about pursuing.A "house-book" available on the island may have been of assistance instead of contacting the owner or looking through every door/drawer.In the end he made it right, and we are all adults with a sense of humour and no harm was done."
"Large beautiful home ..however considering the price we paid for 2 nights we expected to be provided with hairdryer and shampoo and enough linen for all the beds .when the host was contacted re providing these items she told us they did not provide shampoo or hairdryer ..also she questioned the need for us using all the beds and insinuated that we had more people in our group than we had booked for..this was absolutely not true ..we were not provided with our requests ..it’s the little things that make for a great stay and unfortunately our requests were not a priority."

"The cottage was modern and the decor was beautiful. Everything was new and fresh. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one could ever need. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The screened sunroom had a refreshing breeze. We would recommend this lovely cottage to enjoy Tatamagouche Bay.Many thanks to the host who was very helpful."
