"Absolutely surpassed my expectations. I stayed in a suite and the room was nicer than most hotels for an incredible price. Outstanding view. Staff was friendly and remembered me every morning (tho I was only there 2 nites)! Breakfast was good and online ordering was easy. The record player and records were a great added touch. I did a tour of the cellars there as well and the hostel provided discount tickets. Such a great visit. I’d absolutely come back!"

"Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well."

I think what really set them aside from the rest is how the employees really felt like they were happy to be there and were looking to go above and beyond at every second. "The hotel and the staff are excellent, my only complaint was with the air conditioning which was not working and the room would get very hot and made it difficult to sleep. The staff tried to do everything possible to accommodate us but the problem could be solved, besides this issue I fully recommend this hotel. The hotel is great, it does make you feel you are in a castle, the staff is magnificent, they really go out of their way to serve you in every way possible. "
