Beautiful, spacious and cleverly designed spaces. The bed would be the most comfortable I have ever slept in, in my entire life. True luxury. The room was much bigger than the photos made it look. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Location is close to mizuya train station and local restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room is spacious if you book with 2x double beds with sauna.

Clean, spacious, great location, friendly and helpful staff, good food, nice baths (with an views

We treated ourselves to this resort during our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a high class Japanese resort and dinner. The staff are incredibly accomodating and kind also.

On arrival, we were greeted by the current owner, the 13th in the family to run the hotel, and given a tour of the cultural heritage, architecture and artefacts kept by the hotel. He also was very helpful about local attractions, and transport options for seeing them. The rooms themselves were comfortable, Japanese style (you sleep on a futon in a tatami room), and well heated in winter. We had a balcony with a good view of the garden. I hadn't found the options for breakfast and dinner...

An exception and more traditions Japanese experience. Fantastic in room dinner and breakfast service. Very warm friendly staff. A great get away.

Great room with a nice view. Staff were really friendly and helpful - food was amazing also would definitely recommend!

This was our last night away and we had a great night, the room had a hot tub on the balcony facing the beach it was lovely. We also had a tatami room and king size bed which was very comfortable. Fantastic spot.
