"The rooms are great. They are large, modern and very clean. There is plenty of room to move around. It's in a wooded area so it feels a bit secluded. The views out the rooms are nice. The staff is great. There is a lady there that is either the owner or manager and she is wonderful. She knows the area, makes great suggestions on food and fun stuff to do. She is very kind, polite and generous. She made drinks for my son and I (hot coco and tea). She was fun to talk to. I wrote this because I was so impressed by her and the lodge. Great place to stay. "This was one of the very best VRBO stays I ever had. It was a week with my sone for his 30th birthday. The cabin sat in a cozy village of cabins just out of town, but far enough away that it felt we were in the woods, which we were. The amenities were perfect, and Vinnie the host was communicative, caring, and supportive, all while respecting our vacation. We arrived one day before a blizzard and week of heavy snowfall, which made our trip even more fun and magical, since that is what we were hoping for. Vinnie checked in on us to make sure we were OK and offered great suggestions on where to eat, ski, hike, and even bowl when the weather was too rough to enjoy. Even the neighbors were welcoming and helpful. This is a 10 out of 10 and I would stay 100 out of 100 more times when I am back in the area.
