"This resort was absolutely stunning andamazing. Our room opened up to a terrace which had two lounge chairs that overlooked a semi private pool. The terrace was large enough for me to do my morning yoga while watching the sunrise. I could also do yoga while watchingthe sunset. The resort was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The walk ability into town was very convenient. This place was absolute tops and I would definitely stay there again."

"We had such a wonderful stay, but what truly made our experience special was Xara! She was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We arrived after midnight, and she was there waiting to greet us, help with our luggage, and make sure our check-in went smoothly. She was just as helpful when we checked out, and her kindness and thoughtfulness really stood out. She is an absolute gem! All of the staff were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The hotel itself is small, but the location is excellent, and it was exactly what we needed for our three-day stay. A huge thank you to Xara and the entire team for making our stay so lovely. It's people like Xara who make a good hotel experience truly memorable. We really appreciated everything!"

"The main attraction to the property is definitely the view. The room was nice, but it was showing quite a bit of wear and tear. The main downfall of the room was the showers. They were a bit strange as there was no shower curtain or way to keep the water inside the shower. One bathroom was missing the overhead faucet. However, it was still a pleasant stay."

"Just lovely! Really comfortable apartment (we had a sea view, which is worth every penny). Staff all really friendly & helpful, breakfast was exceptional. It's location in Imerovigli is ideal for seeing every available angle of the stunning sunsets over the caldera. Plenty of bars and tavernas nearby, so much choice!! Easy access to the paths to Fira and Oia. Do check the cruise ship days for your visits to Oia & Pyrgos, the big ships can swamp the tiny alleys."

"We had a great stay at Amber Lights especially that it's our first time in Santorini. Everyday you get to witness the gorgeous views of the sun rising over the Agean sea. We also had a lovely breakfast buffet every day. Plus I love that you get a plunge pool or hot tub in or outside your room. Though I wasnt able to enjoy it much since the pool water was too cold for me. But its pretty for photos! Like the other comments though, the area is just a bit far from the touristy places of Oia and Fira. Yes, taxi is expensive so if you have 1 or 2 free days to explore more, better rent a car cause taxi rides costs 35euros per way or their Uber version is around 25 euros per way. While car rentals, depending on the car you want, costs only 30-60 euros per day."
