"We had a fabulous time at Pousada Tapera. Even though it was rainy for most of our stay, we enjoyed the comfortable rooms and the friendly staff. And when the sun came out, we loved the beach nearby and had a refreshing dip in Tapera's pool afterward. We agreed the breakfasts were fabulous. Fresh juice and bread and the best bolo de estudante ever. Sandra, the caretaker and cook, was attentive and lovely throughout our stay. We'd definitely stay again."

"LOVE LOVE LOVE! I would love to come back and stay here again. Every day they strive to give you the best experience by checking in and asking if there’s anything they can do. Everyone is well professional and respectful no matter if you run into them on property or around the island. I stayed in the suite and it was marvelous!!! I loved the location too. It’s only a couple minute walk to 2nd beach where most of the action is but it’s also steps away from where people meet up for activities such as the must do “Volta a islã” day boat ride around the island where you get to stop by spots one more amazing than the other. It’s also steps away from the airport on the island but you wouldn’t know because you don’t hear the planes. I was blown away by this property, the staff and the island! "

"It's a beautiful, well-groomed resort with plenty to do for fun and for relaxation. The wet bar drinks and food was great, the staff very professional, the breakfast spread amazing, the rooms and beds were spa like."
