With new restrictions and safety precautions to adhere to, travel looks a lot different today. Here's what you should know before you fly off to Île des Landes:

• Before booking anything, check if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Stay informed with the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. You should be prepared to adjust your mask to verify your identity when asked by a TSA officer.

• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Keeping your food separate from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open and touch your bag for inspection.
