We stayed at Le Jadis in one of their beach villas, and for the price they charge, the experience was honestly disappointing. We found several bugs — on the couch and even in the bathroom — and there were a lot of mosquitos, with my wife getting the majority of the bites. For a supposedly five-star luxury villa, that’s really not acceptable. Parking was also a hassle. Despite staying in one of their premium villas, I was asked to park outside the resort because there wasn’t enough parking available. For a hotel in this price range, that’s simply poor planning and not the kind of experience you expect. When we requested a late checkout, the hotel only offered an extra hour, even though they confirmed they weren’t fully booked. This was especially disappointing after explaining that my wife is pregnant — the lack of empathy and flexibility really stood out. Some of the staff members were great, particularly the waiters, who were polite and attentive. However, the concierge service could be improved — when I asked a few basic questions, they didn’t seem to know the answers and had to check with the manager. To make matters worse, we were accused of taking extra snacks from the minibar, which we did not. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially given that we had already paid for a high-end villa experience. The food was good but limited, which again doesn’t justify the premium price tag. We (husband and I) recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Diamond Boutique Hotel in Mauritius. If you're considering this hotel primarily for its food and water sports, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Unfortunately, both aspects were a letdown during my visit. The food was mediocre at best, failing to meet the high expectations I had. I was hoping for a variation of delicious local and international flavors and dishes, but what I experienced was less than satisfactory. Similarly, the water sports were underwhelming. I attempted water activities on two separate occasions, and both times the offerings failed to impress. It felt like the experiences didn't quite live up to the excitement promised. However, if your focus is on beautiful scenic views, a relaxed atmosphere, and some tranquil moments, then the Sea Diamond Boutique Hotel is definitely worth considering. The serene environment and breathtaking vistas make it an ideal spot for unwinding and enjoying the natural beauty of Mauritius. Overall, I would rate my experience at the Sea Diamond Boutique Hotel three stars. It's a lovely place to relax, but not the best choice if you're looking for great food or thrilling water sports.

Fantastic stay, couldn't have asked for more. Excellent villa with the perks of hotels. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming in ensuring our stay was very memorable. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. With limited vegetarian options in some restaurants, they were very flexible in providing other choices for us (especially chef Harjit at Zafarani). I'd like to thank Dhanraj Pateetroy (Front Office Manager) for his help in arranging things before we got here via a regular exchange of emails and Melanie (Front Office Officer) for her ongoing support during our vacation. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. If you're vegetarian, then the half board option isn't suitable as you're limited to a few restaurants which don't have that much choice for vegetarians. We originally booked half-board but then had to cancel and re-book as villa only when we were notified of the restaurant restrictions. We ate at the restaurants every evening but ended up having breakfast at the villa as the breakfast options were very limited for vegetarians but cost over £20 each.

Good hotel, decent food options from half board package

Absolutely amazing time we have spent at St Regis Le Morne Resort. The resort is beautiful, quiet and very clean. Our room 493 was amazing suite with an ocean view and a terrace. The food is great we ate at the 4 of the 5 restaurants except the Indya and food was delicious and very high quality! The staff make us feel like we are home ,everyone was so kind and polite. Our favorites are Aroumel at the pool ,she was always great with us with her big smile everytime .Also we liked Veronne from the breakfast she always got us on our favorite table next to the pool ! Our driver Nadin also very nice and polite person and the taxi driver Rajoo who took us to the Port Louis and the La Vanille park and waited for us when we were there. I wanted to say big thank you to the whole St Regis La Morne team and we cant wait to be back next time with our kids! Thank you!
