"I lived in Costa Rica and have been in several hotels. Hyatt Centric is one of the best in country. Rooms are spacious and confortable. The restaurant very very good in all meals. There is also a nice cafeteria. The location is great near Plaza Tempo and Avenida Escazu. The highligjt is the people with amazing service with a special recognition to the outstanding work of Carlos in the restaurant 👏👏👏"

I would definitely rent the property again. John was very responsive and even let us have a late check out which was very helpful! Love the area it’s very safe and private. "Very disappointing and stressful experience. We tried to contact the host many times in the weeks leading up to our trip. While we did have some communication, their average response time was over 10 days, which made planning difficult and frustrating.On the day of check-in, the host still hadn’t provided the proper check-in information. I had to contact VRBO, who was finally able to reach the host and assured us we would receive the check-in details one hour before arrival. Instead, at that time, the host unexpectedly cancelled our booking.This left 7 people, including children, stranded in a foreign country, scrambling last minute to find a place to stay. We were forced to completely change our plans, settle for alternative accommodations, and absorb significant added costs and stress — all of which could have been avoided with better communication and responsibility from the host.To make matters worse, the host falsely claimed that the property had already been booked by someone else before us. This is simply untrue, as we had multiple conversations and confirmations leading up to our trip, and they were fully aware we were scheduled to arrive.I would not recommend this host to anyone. Completely unreliable, unprofessional, and dishonest."

"I arrived early on a Tuesday after flight delays. The place was nice- a lot of construction going on- but nice. Pool looked like it needed a shock but it’s not yet hot enough. Walked into town and enjoyed good food at La casa de Layla. The host was nice. I missed breakfast because I was sleeping soundly. Comfy spot to get adjusted to Tico life. "
