"Best hotel so far me and my wife have stayed in have stayed multiple times now in different rooms all have very comfortable beds great bathrooms very modern compared to all the other hotels we have stayed in along the beach front staff always helpful and professional "
"Room was quiet, clean and with good decor; bathroom was nice and clean too. Rooms were quiet. The restaurant was tastefully decorated and food (we only had breakfast) was fresh with lots of choice. Only minor criticism was the pillows. Too hard for my liking. Overall, we enjoyed our three nights stay. Would recommend. "
"Bed was too close to the wall, it was difficult to go to the window side every time. Bed sheet, pillow cases and gilt cover had not been changed. There was only one staff in the hotel, or you can call it a guest house."
"We enjoyed our stay we got free upgraded room
Due to one allocated was very small and dark and view fire exit stair case , I went to reception and they gave me 3 other rooms to choose from which was good, breakfast think they should give you options to choose items you need as I can’t eat very much due to medical condition. Think they should stop smoking rooms as corridor was very strong of smoke and made my dad stressed due to him having to keep taking his medical pump . I didn’t take staff name that changed our room but was very polite . "
" I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse. The bar man assisted telling us it was his night off but would help. After drinks at bar We asked for a jug of iced water to take to room. Barman said receptionist would help and to wait in reception for the water. The receptionist came out with two plastic very stained cooking jugs and asked ‘which one’? I asked for a cleaner one and spotted some Pimms jugs which would be much more suitable. Begrudgingly he agreed and assisted. When arriving for breakfast we were not greeted. We found our own table and made way to buffet. Platters were half full at best with many cold offers empty. No bread for toast. No eggs. No pastry. No fresh fruit salad. Juice on a bare minimum, literally had to wait mins to drain. We were not late. We were there 930 latest. We had find someone to request hot tea and coffee, which as tasteless. However at 10 the staff were very attentive to say buffet was shutting. Went for swim. Shower was freezing and woodlice on floor. Nowhere to change in private. Weeds through fire escape. This is barely a 3 star. My only compliment of this hotel was the lovely gentleman on reception when we arriv"
"Room had three single beds with very white linen, although my son found a very faint stain on his. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Shower very powerful! View was of a side street so not a seaview, which was disappointing. It's about 1km to town so not far, and there is a row of shops including a Sainsbury's and fish and chip shop behind the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. "
