"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. "The condition of the property was flawless. All the amenities that you will need, and modern. This is located in a quiet neighborhood with not a lot of places to eat or see nearby. There is a Lawson, Family Mart and 7-11 within 10 mins walk, and 3 vending machines within 3 mins walk.The air conditioning worked great thankfully, becuase it was very hot when we went. "My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations.
