"The hotel is very outdated. Some of the doors do not lock or you have trouble getting into your room because looks like the doors have been busted. The free breakfast seem like it consisted of a hostess coffee cake. There are hardly any covers on the bed basically as sheet and this blanket. The water pipes squeal and make noises. The showers do not produce very hot water. However, the staff that I dealt with was super nice and very professional."

"February isn’t busy. Only 6 rooms occupied. And yet my room was only reasonably cleaned. Otherwise it’s a beautiful park and lodge. Must be amazing in the summer "

"Rooms were not ready at check in. A new room was given but the door didn’t lock and there was no maintenance man to fix it that day so it remained unsecured for the duration of the stay. The pool was closed. The renovations started very early in the morning."

"The house had not been cleaned in who knows how long. The bottom of the bathtub was black and the tub mat was black as well. Floors were dirty. You could not take your shoes off without your feet or socks turning black. The first time I reached out about it not being cleaned, they acted like they would have someone come clean it the next day. The next day when I messaged about checking out early due to the homes condition, they never responded and no one had showed up to clean when we left. I would not recommend staying here as the pictures that are posted are very deceiving. "

"Our family had our Christmas party and stayed at the cottage. We had some from New York, Ashland and local family stay. The place exceeded all of our expectations and we absolutely loved the time there. We are already planning on doing it next year. We would highly recommend it to everyone! "
