Hotel was very cute. Exactly as we expected. Our bathroom door was VERY loud but other than that the whole experience was amazing. The staff was wonderful and very very helpful. Location was beautiful right on the water. Would stay again.

About 4 kms outside Borgarnes … so no business near by, that’s a minus if you need to buy anything, but also a plus because it has dining and you cannot get the view from elsewhere

Roomy space for three beds. There was Netflix on tv so that was a plus! Unfortunately we weren’t able to get cold drinking water from the tap and had to go down to the bar to get it.

Staffs are great, checkin was smooth, and it also included breakfast. The building is bit old so you can hear other rooms easily. In addition, the second floor has very low ceiling, so you can even bump to it when sit up on the bed. Hot water has a extremely strong sulphur smells. Considering the price, I would give it 3*.

The hotel Hafnarfjall was just terrible. The condition of both rooms (Rooms 4 & 5) was not clean, the bedding was worn, and the bathroom needed a major cleaning and upgrade. This hotel was the worst hotel on our 17-day trip to Iceland. I woke up with many bite marks on my body staying in Room 4 near the twin bed by the window which I have documented, most likely from this hotel. In the morning, coffee was instant coffee and not made fresh.

Eramos 3 parejas y 2 reservaron por booking y mi esposa y Yo con ustedes. A ellos le llego un comunicado sobre cual y como iba ser su ckeck in pero a mi no fue asi. Tuve que buscar cual cuarto tenia alguna llave pegada y utilizar ese cuarto sin tener la seguridad que fuese el que me tocaba. Por esa razon no pudimos descanzar por la inseguridad. Las fotos mostradas en la aplicación te hacen pesar que te vas a quedar en un buen lugar pero no fue la experiencia adquirida Perecia mas que estaba en un Motel que en un Hotel. El cuarto pobre y con toallas rotas. Entiendo que la publicidad en la aplicación es un engaño.
