"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was extremely nice and well located. The breakfast was well supplied and had a large selection to choose from. Dinner was excellent but a little pricey. I liked that they asked if we wanted a wake up knock if the northern lights could be seen from the hotel. We had a lovely stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Brekka. Location is convenient to both the Myvatn area and Husvik. Room was clean and comfortable - loved the horses grazing in the fields nearby. We had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant (you can make reservations ahead of time or at check-in) and the breakfast included in our rate was also delicious. They also offer laundry if staying more than 1 night. Thank you for a lovely stay :)"

"They had a great restaurant which is good because there isn’t much around the lake. So having a great breakfast was excellent. Good firm bed. The location was excellent with the ranger station & craters all within a quick walk across the street."

"Very nice house in town. Well maintained and very nice room. Front door is hard to work, and should be replaced. Everyone struggled with it and you could hear people who came in late.... But overall really cute little place."
