"Harbourside Inn was such a quaint and charming stay, tucked away in the quiet town of Northeast Harbor. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the livelier Bar Harbor, which ended up being the best of both worlds for us. The shops and restaurants nearby do close fairly early, but Bar Harbor is just a short drive away whenever you want a little more action. We loved the slower pace here, especially being able to walk into town for coffee in the mornings. It felt peaceful, cozy, and quintessentially Maine—the perfect home base for our time on Mount Desert Island."

"We had such a wonderful stay! It was the perfect space for me, my husband, and our 10-month-old baby. We wanted to stay in a quiet area near Bar Harbor, and this location was exactly what we were looking for. The space was beautifully decorated with such a cozy Maine feel, and we loved all the thoughtful details throughout the home. We used the second bedroom for our baby, which worked out perfectly. The area was peaceful and quiet, while still being a convenient drive to Bar Harbor. We also accidentally left our baby monitor behind, and the host reached out to me and shipped it back to us. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!"

"The Hidden Place is a very nicely appointed cottage which was very clean and in a quiet location. It offers great access to the entrance to Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor is just a short 15 minute drive away for groceries, dining and other attractions."

"We stayed here because of its convenience to Acadia, and boy were we correct! Rented bikes down the hill from the house and spent 5 hours in Acadia, no traffic or crowds! Also went to Thunder Hole and Sand Beach, while doing the Cadillac Drive too. It couldn’t have worked out better for us based on the proximity of the property.The house is amazing, stocked with whatever you need (plates, cups, glasses, silverware, washer/dryer, coffee machine etc!). Five of us stayed here and really enjoyed our time at the house as well as taking advantage of Acadia and Seal Beach just down the road. 10/10. Thank you Jenny for being a fantastic host!"

"We were very grateful for our nice place in Northeast Harbor! Our goal in choosing this particular place was to have ready access to Acadia without the touristy energy of Bar Harbor, and that worked out perfectly! The location of the unit was on the Main Street of Northeast Harbor above a small restaurant, and we were aware of that and it posed no issues at all. The unit was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and though the space was small, it suited our purposes (we were out and about all day). I actually think Northeast Harbor provides better access to the National Park than staying in Bar Harbor. Northeast Harbor was very relaxed, and so it was a bit of a shock to get into the park and be faced with unrelenting crowds! It was so nice to return to the quiet little town after all that!"
