"Close to everything I wanted see. All within walking distance."

"In the area to hike at Acadia NP. Stayed 2 weekday nights with my husband and our adult son in a room with 2Q beds. In appearance, it's a typical no-charm motel but there was plenty of space in the room, comfortable beds, and very helpful staff. Breakfast is mostly standard motel food, but yay for the thoughtful selection of some healthier foods like fresh fruit, cups of plain Bob's Red Mill oats (just add water), and energy bars to take hiking. There's also coffee (including decaf) and tea all the time, We had a rental car to get to the park, but we just walked from the motel ~8 minutes to get to the heart of Bar Harbor for restaurants and shops. (Be careful crossing the awkward intersection in front of the motel). Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how well this place met our needs."

"This is a great property that is at the edge of Acadia National Park and Close to Bar Harbor. We had a great visit and were close enough to everything to come back to the house to relax and then go out again! The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. There were books, games, and grill on the back deck. We had a great visit!"

"We chose this location for our honeymoon and we couldn’t have been happier. It felt like the quintessential Maine experience getting to stay on an island, and the views were incredible. It was great being so close to Acadia too. You will have to be vigilant with the ferry schedule and being to the docks on time. Otherwise, you will have to get the more expensive water taxi if you miss the last ferry. Also, keep an eye on the ferry facebook page. They will sometimes cancel times due to wind/weather. The hosts Jennifer and Geoff were fantastic and always had quick communication with us to answer all of our questions. The caretaker Paul brought us more firewood right as we were running out as well. We were well taken care of!"
