"This cabin was so wonderful…. Comfortable beds, perfectly located with the beautiful Ausable right across a quiet road, sitting on 5 acres so lots of privacy and everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We would stay again if we ever head back that way. Thank you!!"

"Our car club had four Miatas (two couples, two singles) and we all LOVED the cabin! The location was perfect - quiet but convenient to Lake Placid and Whiteface. With warm days and cool nights. we appreciated the HVAC splits in each space, and the propane stove in the main living area. We loved the fire pit, and having a washer and dryer in the basement. The entrance from Route 73 is fine for SUVs and light trucks, and even our sports cars managed with some careful driving on Nordic. Penny Lane was just fine, and we had no issues parking our cars. The cabin is clearly new construction, and is very thoughtfully laid out. When I have a similarly sized group visiting this area in the future, this will be our first choice."

"Great cozy hiker hotel! Loved the shared kitchen as a place to store and prepare all ny hiking snacks. The other guests were fellow hikers and it was fun to swap stories and recommendations. Highly recommend."

"We LOVED staying here!! Highly recommend. Honestly the place looks better than the pictures. It’s a very cute cottage feel. Bed and sofa were comfortable. Place was quiet even with windows open. Right across the street from a main gas station so perfect for coffee or late night snack run. Will absolutely stay here again and look forward to it. One of my best friends lives in Keene but my husband and I plus our dog wanted our own place and it’s perfect. Love that it was dog friendly - sorry for our white dog hair!! Our dog loved it too because he settled right in and had no problem being left alone."

"Great communication with host, who was quick to respond. House is amazing. Clean, well appointed, kitchen had all we needed for family dinners, beds were comfy, great location, and plenty of space for our group. Only wish our stay was longer."

"We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned."

"I highly recommend the Giant’s View Cabin.House: The house is spacious, well-appointed, clean, and everything works. It can accommodate a large family or group. There were only four of us on our trip, which gave each couple room to spread out and have a lot of privacy. The view from the porch of Giant Mountain across the valley is spectacular. You can also watch the sun rise and the moon rise from the porch, weather permitting.Location: The house is quiet and feels very secluded even though it is only a five-minute drive off the main road. We came for the hiking, and there are a variety of hikes within a twenty-minute drive, from moderate 3-5-milers to big ones that climb 3,000 feet straight up. The town of Keene Valley and nearby Keene are small but have a handful of shops and the essentials (a small grocery, a liquor store, a bakery, etc.). Lake Placid, which has big stores, is a 25-minute drive.Owners: Laura and Ray are fantastic. They are super responsive and friendly. We will definitely return to Giant’s View."
