Along one of the many beaches of Hua Hin, Thailand, sits a tiny peninsula that houses Wat Khao Takiab. Like most temples, a statue of Buddha is displayed in some shape or form. Here the statue is one of a standing Buddha with the palms of both hands upright and facing outwards, called “Repelling the Oceans”. One common meaning of this posture is the belief that on a visit to India, Buddha used the power of meditation to repel a wall of water that was unleashed by a hermit in hopes to cause a flood. There is also a second meaning “Preventing the Relative from Fighting”. Even though it's quite old building it's clean and everything works.bed not hard.they even put Aircon on for you before you arrive.so you enter a cool room. If there is a group of you 12/18people can hire house opposite.for 8000bhat.per night.total.good garden and BBQs.just bring your food.and drink.

4 houses from beach asnd lovely local spot. Restaurants a 3 min walk as well as taxi in to town. Good value for money. Very relaxed

Not great but it will do

Unfortunately there was construction on the road to the hotel so we had a hard time finding an alternative route. It was a very small room, the bed was very hard, the lighting was poor, and the shower had only luke warm water. The area near by was really nice and the staff was helpful and pleasant
