Quirky and fun hotel in Hua Hin

I spent the Christmas break in Thailand to escape the winter. King's Home seemed right for my needs. It's in the centre of Hua Hin and is run by a family. King's Home is quirky--the furniture is a mix of styles with grandfather clocks and paintings around the hotel. The rooms are comfortable with en suite bathrooms and aircon. There is a small garden with a raised swimming pool. The owners, Arunee and John (Dutch) are warm and welcoming. My taxi got lost in Hua Hin (how? it's so small) and Arunee came and took me to the hotel. There are TVs in the rooms and there is a big collection of books to read in a number of languages. And of course wifi. One of the first things I needed was a Thai massage and Arunee fixed me up with a gem of a masseuse who fixed me up after my flight. From King's Home you can walk to the bars, the Night Market, the beach, in fact anywhere in Hua Hin.

Op expedia staat als omschrijving hotel, maar het is een guesthouse. De verwachtingen waren derhalve anders. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen! Verder qua kamer, leek het meer op een slaapkamer dan een kamer om gasten in te ontvangen. We hadden tevens alleen koud water, geen wc papier en een kapptte douchekop ..

Apart met een geweldige gastvrouw. Het voelt als thuiskomen, warm en gezellig. Als je niet houdt van strak stijf en onpersoonlijk is dit de plek waar je moet zijn. In het centrum van de oude stad maar in het rustige gedeelte.

Undvik detta hotell!

Absolut sämsta hotell vi bott på någonsin. Var så såligt städat att det luktade illa. Försökte låta bli att ge toalettpapper, tvål och schampo. Stora råttor sprang kring hotellet.

โรงแรมเล็ก ไม่มีที่จอดรถ แค่มอร์เตอร์ไซค์ก็จอดลำบากแระ แต่โรงแรมอยู่ในแหล่งชุมชนสามารถหาของกินสะดวก และไม่ไกลจากตลาดโต้รุ่ง,เพลินวาน ห้องสะอาดใช้ได้ แต่ของตบแต่งดูรกตาไปหน่อย นอกนั้นถือว่าดี

nice central location

This was an ideal location for site seeing in Hua Hin. The atmosphere was like a hostel but with the privacy of a hotel. The walk from the train station was easy enough, just do not rely on your phone for navigation. Have a copy of the directions with you if it is your first time there. Laundry service and breakfast are available on site. Lots of choices nearby for lunch and dinner. The beach, Night Bazaar and bar district are all an easy walk

Ca fem minuter till stranden.

Allt ligger nära detta stället, gillar man ordning och reda är kanske inte detta ställe något för dig, men underbara människor som fixa och dona med att fixa allt till en. Frukost för en billig peng finns det och vatten kaffe the är gratis och även trådlöst internet. Finns en liten pool ;) I trädgården om man inte vill bada i havet. Kan varm rekommendera detta ställe, billigt bra och nära till allt...

le séjour s'est bien passé, mais la présentation de ces chambres d'hôte nous a paru bien optimisée: Par exemple la piscine dont il était question dans l'annonce n'était en fait qu'une petite hors sol !
