"Cool location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Saw a bald eagle, hummingbirds, and multiple geese and ducks. Wish we had had more time to book a rafting trip on the river, but it was fun waving to those that did from the back porch. Only thing to keep in mind is that there are immediate neighbors not pictured in the listing. This kind of threw us as their property seems to share space with this property."

"We loved our 5 night stay at this beautiful home! We were in Oregon for a family reunion in near by Walterville. The views from every room are fantastic. It is right on the river, in a beautiful area. It’s a very large property, that is maintained perfectly. There is so much space in this house, and it is decorated beautifully, everything is new. The kitchen is fully equipped. Communication with our host was outstanding. We haven’t been able to find a property like this on the McKenzie River until this trip. We are already talking about when we can come back. You can walk out the door and go for beautiful strolls near the house, just minutes from the fish hatchery. The kayaking, was easily accessible just a two minute launch away.We loved everything about this beautiful house. Thank you."

"This is a beautiful property. The cabin is perfect for two. Nicely furnished and a well equipped kitchen. The fire pit was stocked with wood. The McKenzie river is so clear and beautiful. If you can't relax at this property, check with your doctor. So peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely be back."

"Nice little place near the river. Had a great TV and a nice big bed. We were able to cook breakfast before we left and had decent access down to the river to see the sites. Had a nice bench to sit on next to the river. Had a fire pit in front of the house that we would’ve used if we were staying longer than one night. It was definitely a nice place and I would stay there again."
