Room smelled very musty, like maybe it’s a water leak issue. Sink didn’t have a rubber insert and you could see strait down into the sink drain. Linens were clean and fresh. Bathroom was clean and stocked with shampoo etc. Overall it was ok. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Bedding was dirty, cracked walls, thin walls and ceiling can hear everyone else. My room had a new TV that didn't have the proper remote to link to the Dish box so i couldn't change channels. The wide-screen mode was incorrect and couldn't be fixed. The phone didnt work so i had to walk to the front desk and they couldn't fix the tv either. Maintenance tried the next day and they couldn't figure it out either.

ROACHES!!
1st thing I see as soon as I walk into the 1st room was a live baby roach on the kitchen table. Asked front desk for a different room on complete opposite side of hotel. Walked i to 2nd room on 2nd flr and immedietly started looking and found live adult roach in cabinet above microwave! I went back to front desk and informed him I could not stay here due to the roaches and was told I wiuld have to call Hotels.com to settle this. He stated he could tell them I wasn't charged, but I would still have to call Hotels.com. I should've taken pics of roaches but was diagusted as soon as I saw them and walked out.

Poor Review
It was not a good experience. The first room I was put in did not have cool air and the toilet wouldn't flush. The second room I was transferred to had a broken blow dryer and the shower didn't work. I cut my finger badly lifting up the valve for the shower.

My ax unit in my room leaked water on my floor, I notified the front desk Monday morning and they said maintenance will take a look into it, when I came back to the hotel around 4pm, I asked the lady at the front desk about it and she said she didn’t know what I was talking about and said she would have maintenance come out but no one showed up.

I only needed the room for 6 hours tops, as there were no other options i booked a stay with candlewood. I arrived a little before 12am as i enter the room the smell was beyond overwhelming. It smelled like mold/moisture. Since it's last minute and i didn't have options i stood. Attempted to heat up some food, and microwave didn't work. Worst decision was to take my shoes off as my socks stuck to the carpet i thought i could walk on walls after that. Then with the 4 hours i had to sleep something about the sheets have me a skin reaction, itching all night. Do not recommend this place at all.

The room was a good size with a full sized frig, microwave, and desk. The first room we got had a musky smell to it, maybe a little bit of smoke, although the property is non-smoking. The gentleman at the front was nice and moved us to another room which was better but still had an odd smell I couldn't put my finger on. The TV was much smaller than the other room and we couldn't raise the volume on the remote, everything else worked on it but the volume. The bathroom door had scratches/scuffs/smears which I didn't want to examine too much. The corners of the floor in the bathroom by the tub looked a little moldy. In the middle of the night when I got up to use the bathroom, I found a roach hanging out by the tub. That pretty much sealed it that I would never book this hotel again. On the surface, the hotel seemed fine but after further examination, the hotel needs lots of updates, cleaning, and attention to details.

This hotel was recommended to me by a client and I also read the reviews before I booked. The front entrance was a prelude of what was to follow (terrible). The interior smelled funky. When I went to my room, the smell was even more pungent - like it had been a smoking room, but was never properly properly de-smoked. The rooms were dirty - when I complained about my room, the night check-in clerk did take me to see four other rooms and all were in a similar state. After deciding to move to an alternate room so as not to offend the clerk, I realized that there was no way I could stay there. I checked out 30 minutes after checking in.

A+++ customer service and very comfortable
I cannot sing praises high enough for this hotel. In the midst of an evacuation the thing you need the most is ease and comfort. The staff at Candlewood made sure both happened for us. The bedding and pillows are exceptional, which was a real relief after a long drive. The staff made every request I had possible- far beyond anything I could have asked for. They never seemed stressed, just ready to help. The rooms are nice enough and everything worked. Thats all I could have hoped for.

Awesome stay!
