It was a great place for the money and extremely clean but unfortunately the bedding let it down, 1 pillow that was very small and thin and the top sheet was also small so it didn’t stay on you once you moved about.

The written directions to the house were completely wrong. Had to ask a passer-by walking his dog, how to find the address. Instead of the 10 minute walk, it more like 1/2 hour. Was not greeted with any warmth or welcome; the room was stifling hot when I entered; smelled like it hadn't been 'aired' for days. With window open there was road noise all night. She confirmed that I had asked for airport transfer but didn't tell me someone was going a little earlier. Husband had to make 2 trips one after the other.

Einfach, aber blitzsauber, ziemlich ruhig und Bett bequem. Taxi für die Fahrt zum Flughafen am nächsten Morgen stand wie gewünscht bereit. Es hat alles gut geklappt trotz Ankunft nach 22:30 Uhr. Gerne wieder.

Overall was very nice indeed. Lovely guest house, quiet, well maintained and got a ride to the airport which was very nice. I was leaving early so a very nice breakfast was laid out for me ahead of time. Delightful.

Very disappointed B&B

After a long journey from East Anglia, i was met by a rather grumpy host. My checking in seemed almost too much trouble for him. On arrival i had to pay and in my confirmation it gave me the option of paying by cheque or card, but Mr Grumpy insisted that I was to pay cash, no problem i said and went in search for an ATM, which was located in a nearby petrol station. I handed over the cash and never saw him again that evening. I had to go out for an evening meal and he didn't bother to tell me that the local pub was temporarily closed due to a recent fire,it took me ages to find somewhere else to eat, i am afraid that I cannot recommend this B&B to anyone, very disappointed as it took the shine off my holiday.

Great experience. As soon as I booked, the owners got in touch with me to make sure of my arrival time and my needs. They gave me a ride to the airport in the morning. Can't give them a high enough recommendation!

The price was quite good. I was a bit sad that we rented an extra room with an on-suite bathroom so we could get 2 showers in before going early to the airport, but there wasn't enough hot water so one of us had to use the communal bathroom anyways. It wasn't the end of the world, but just too bad. The beds were pretty good.

Close to Gatwick airport. Free ride to the air port. Check in and out was quick. Loved the fact that there were USB charging outlets by the bed eliminating the need for a converter

Clean and functional. Quiet despite close proximity to airport. "Light self-service" breakfast (read continental and low quality) is too expensive for what it is. Best to eat at the airport instead, depending on your flight time. Good for those that need a low cost hotel before flying out. A good point is that transfer to the airport is included in the price.

Clean and Cozy

Basic rooms in an old school style English home. The home was quite cute. Everything was super clean. It was extremely close to the airport. The host was helpful in helping us find a taxi ride back and forth from the hospital.

Conveniently located. Skip the breakfast nothing fresh - everything in a cellophane package like twinkies. No coffee except instant. Only one towel per person (a face cloth would have been nice). The lift to the airport was appreciated.

The bed was super comfortable. The place had a very home-like feel about it! We had an amazing sleep, no noise during our stay. The owner was kind enough to give us a ride to the airport in the morning. Breakfast was simple, but it's also not an expensive add-on by any means. Would recommend if you need somewhere comfortable and close to Gatwick!

Very close and convenient for Gatwick and good off-road free parking. No wash basin in shared bathroom. Couldn't switch off central heating because dial was awkwardly behind bedhead. Owners were flexible with a slightly late check-out.

A good stay. The pictures reflect the rooms well. Was very clean and fresh sheets - the decor is a little dated but thats clear in the pictures. Was really impressed by the overall quality of the guesthouse. Had no problems.
