"I was there for three night and my room was only clean once, The maid would come to the room and only would replace the bath mat towel. I even spoke with maid on the hallway and still no Room Service. This hotel is supposed to be rated as top Casino and Hotel. the internet was poor. Difficult to surf the web. I would Not recommend this hotel to no one."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and smelled very nice. The only issue I had was the sink drained very slowly, but it was because the stopper/plug couldn’t go up very high."

"Walked into the lobby with a prostitute getting a room. Then met with the self check in kiosk so the hotel cuts corners on paying real staff members, outsourcing cheap virtual labor. Given room 112’s room key, all to open the door and find they were storing extra beds and utility items in there. Went to front desk to ask to cancel my room, as the experience was not acceptable. Man at front was nice, but unable to give me a receipt on-site and had to go through the rigorous report system on their third party website. $100 a night seems crazy for this location."

"We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel as it seemed older, and we did not have high hopes. It was clean and seemed like they did some updates. The staff, and we spoke with many, because we always have questions, were all outstanding and helpful. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. When we left there was a crew trimming trees and cleaning up the property. We had a pet friendly room that was clean and did not look or feel like some pet friendly rooms we have been in. There was a huge area for our dog to do her business and even run around. There were restaurants nearby and the Round Table across the street was really good. We were there for softball, and it was an easy trip to the University."

"This did not match at all what the photos showed. Check in was not smooth. Nobody was there. There must be a disconnect between this cottage and Expedia because apparently they didn’t have my phone number even though I entered everything on Expedia. Buildings are way older and run down. It is cute, cozy and clean. It just depends on your trip and activity. We were there for a night and needed a place to sleep in. We needed something smooth, quick and convenient and this wasn’t it. But if you’re making an outdoor adventure trip in the mountains with your family or friends and needed a pace to stay longer term, This will work perfect. Bathroom was the best part of this whole place (for us). Staffs were a hit or miss. We had to speak to more than 1 staff on the phone. 2 were helpful and one was not at all."

"The cabin was clean and well stocked with toiletries and warm sheets. We enjoyed our stay among the Redwoods and if we ever venture out that way again, would love to stay here again!"

"This place seems very new and is an attactive option if you want to stay in a more rural location in second-growth redwoods. We lived very close to this property many years ago and so this is exactly what we were looking for. We had no complaints and would not hesitate to book this place again. We noted two small areas for imporvement. There is no washer/dryer and the nearest facilities are in McKinleyville, so you cant pack light and expect to do laundry. Also, being new, the kitchen has the very basics, but is lacking spices, cooking oils, food storage (e.g. tupperware), foil, platics wrap ot anything similar. I suspect this will change with time. Overall, very quiet, peaceful with nice views, a fire pit and a small creek. One small hint is that Lindsey Creek at the bottom of the road has coho salmon that spawn in it, if you are staying during some of the first significant rains of the year in Nov or Dec, this is a very memorable experience if you get lucky. "

"This is such an awesome house! It had everything you could possibly need and more. It is a great location for exploring Redwood natl park. Quiet location with beautiful views and cute little nooks for reading. I wish we had more time to spend just to be in the house. The hot tub was awesome and a great way to spend the end of the day! "
