  • This large, fully furnished, one-bedroom with additional Queen pull out bed in living room and one-bath condo is on the 34th floor at the Waikiki Banyan. The private bedroom can be configured as a king bed or 2 twin beds. This extra large corner unit features epic ocean views. Free parking and high speed Wifi. The kitchen was recently redecorated. Brand new upgraded air conditioner. Upgraded queen size sofa bed and lounge chairs in living room. The condo comes with free unassigned parking.
    The condo accommodates up to four guests. Private living room provides Waikiki Beach views and Diamond head views. Amenities include air-conditioning, an ocean facing lanai with new furniture, upgraded HD cable TV with streaming apps, and a phone with unlimited free local calls. There is free high speed wireless inter-net access. Additionally, there is a full kitchen. The unit was recently redecorated with new Hawaiian furniture, flooring, fresh paint, vanity, drapes, & tiles in the bathroom as well as plush new bedding.
    Waikiki Beach is just one block away. As is all the shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. This is a great romantic getaway and or a fabulous family vacation.
    The building's private 6th floor offers a large newly renovated recreation deck with beautiful heated pool, 3 spas and a sauna. This is paradise.

We have stayed at this condo multiple times over the years. Being an end unit, facing south, not only is the view great but the cross ventilation with the tradewinds makes for a very nice and comfortable stay. Two blocks to the beach for swimming, surfing, and snorkeling puts the cherry on top for a memorable visit. The owner is responsive and helpful from booking to checkout. Certainly, we look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Howard.

A lovely place to stay

The location of the condo is an asset - close to everything you need, plus the beautiful ocean view. It’s nice and cozy to stay. I wish I stayed longer in Oahu, which has better spots for snorkeling.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Condo is comfortable and accommodating. However, latch on the bathroom window was broke and therefore allowed a lot of wind in.

We really enjoyed the constant flow of fresh air from this 34th floor corner unit with lots of windows. Nice distance view of the ocean and buildings in Waikiki. Short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants in Waikiki and Kapahulu.

We have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan multiple times over the last 15 years. We have used this property no less than five or six of those times. This is a very nice unit with outstanding views. Great views, centrally located But needled more explanation on the security key and running the TV’s, for first time users of your place. Also the linen services, as in if they have a schedule they use or we call for the service. Would definitely want to stay again when we come back.

We adore staying at the Waikiki Banyan. The location cannot be beat and the free parking is a huge perk. The check in process was very easy and all staff at the Banyan embody the aloha spirit of Hawai'i. The view from the condo was stunning - Waikiki Beach is a gorgeous back drop. The condo could use some maintenance (bathroom window, lanai drain, overall cleanliness) and instructions (tv and shower - - hint; pull out on the shower handle HARD to start the flow of water) but we greatly appreciated the late checkout granted by our host. Mahalo Howard!

Nice property and close to everything

The place was very clean with plenty of kitchen items if you plan to have a meal or reheat some leftovers. It was nice to have beach items, boogie boards- beach chairs, in the condo. As somebody who has difficulty sleeping whenever I stay in hotels, my wife and I found the bed very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Being 2 blocks from the beach, free parking and a great balcony view to enjoy while having a morning coffee are also pluses of renting this unit. I would not hesitate to stay hear again. 1 last thing, the elevators are fine and not slow like somebody stated in a previous review.

Perfect and Beautiful!

This was an amazing stay! Less than 5min walk to the sand, surrounded by all kinds of dining shops and things to so. View was spectacular, patio is big and spacious, room was more than big enough with stunning views at every window. There were lots of extra towels, a closet full of beach items, kitchen had anything you could need to cook a meal on site. Property owner Howard communicated very well, gave all information we needed in detail and was beyond kind! Room is conveniently located next to trash and laundry, but you do not hear or smell anything. This properly made our trip for sure! When we come back to Waikiki we will definitely try to stay here again as well as recommended it to anyone we know is visiting. Thank you Howard for allowing us to enjoy this place for our honeymoon!

Most Incredible View

Our stay here was excellent! The photos of the ocean views really don’t do this place justice!!!! We got in late at night and when we woke up our first morning we were totally taken aback by the incredible ocean view and sunrise over diamond head which you can see from the kitchen. We spent every morning enjoying our coffee on the lanai. I’ve been to Waikiki 4 or 5 times now and this has been the best stay yet (we usually have stayed in tower 1 of the banyan). I also love how this place just felt like a home, more than a hotel. Thank you Howard for being a great host/answering questions fast. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their next oahu getaway! We will absolutely be back! Hopefully sooner than later!!!

2nd Stay Was Great Again

This was the 2nd time staying in this unit. We were again pleased. The location was very good and suited us well. The unit is a bit dated, but is comfortable. We appreciated the amount of towels, pool towels and linens made available for our two week stay. It would be nice if the sliding door could be shut closed. It made the air conditioner work extra hard since warm air was always coming in through the opening. There were long waits for elevators since one was being updated and was not functioning. But all in all, a great trip and we would stay there a third time!

Great choice. Views for days!

Overall was great. The view is what sold me on booking and did not disappoint. Conveniently located to the beach walking distance. Only negative thing to say is that the check in key pad code was incorrect and after a 14 hour day of flying we were exhausted! We had to wait outside the room on the phone getting assistance for about 20-30 minutes until we were given the code. Very humid and hot in hallways. But would def book with Howard again. Room had everything it needed. 🙂

Great location and views

Pros- Fantastic location …only a 3 minute walk to a quiet part of the beach. Beautiful Views-bedroom and kitchen window beautiful sunrise over Diamond Head, front window and balcony beautiful ocean view. All Essentials were in condo and easy access to laundry, garbage and recycling. Parking-onsite parking at no extra cost. Daily parking rate in Waikiki is $45 at minimum. Cons-The interior was not clean with visible dirt in high touch areas and around windows. The bathroom ceiling had black mold next to window. This was addressed quickly once we notified the owner.

Great Location - Property is Dated

Property is in a great location, easy access to the Waikiki beach area and plenty of shopping options. One elevator in each tower is being replaced so waiting for elevators was slow at times. We rented a large vehicle and when we arrived we were not allowed to park in the garage as it was considered oversized. I spoke with Howard and he helped coordinate speaking to security to check for options. In the end we went back and swapped for a different car at the airport. The property was nice but dated. Howard was very responsive with any questions we had.

Nice location, great host

Property was easy to find as well as get in and out of parking wise. Elevators were easily accessible and close to where we chose to park. Nice to schlep our stuff up to the condo. We did have a couple building evacuations (I'll email the host directly), but thankfully WE didn't actually evacuate. An abundance of clean, soft towels was appreciated and the shampoos were amazing for my picky hair! I'm actually going to see if I can find it on amazon. Internet tv isn't our norm, so it took us a big bit to fumble through to find the National Championship game, but we found it! (I know tv on vaca, but it was a rain afternoon and a big game) Location was great - simply down the elevators, by the front desk, we were on the sidewalk, then one block to the beach and beach walk. Walked pretty much everywhere and only took the car to two further away excursions.
