Stayed here in 1976, 1978, then just returned. Great family warm atmosphere. Simple, no frills but warm There was lots of noise around, due to nearby construction. Missing dish soap and scissors in the kitchen.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was a terrible experience. Here is why: - They “mistakely” checked us out on the first day. When we returned from our day out, we were locked out of our room for an hour. The guy working at night helped us but it was very inconvenient. They never apologized for it too. -The bed was said to be queen but it was full size. - Bedroom did not smell fresh. - It was too loud outside at night. The only reason for two stars is because they let us check in early 2 hours and the spot is near to waikiki. I would not recommend this place at all.

They need to do something about the plumbing in the building. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the bathtub drain didn't drain properly. There's nothing more annoying than having your legs in dirty water while showering and the AC was really loud. If you want a place to stay to sleep in and you don't plan on spending much time in your room then it is ok. In my opinion we overpaid for the room we were in. It was much too small for 2 people. There was too much furniture in the room it was too cramped for what they had in there.

Traveling with a group of 10 this was a great place to stay. Rooms were near each other, it’s close to shopping and the beach for a good price. I like that since they use regular keys they have a drop box so no fear of it getting lost. Staff was super nice. We will be staying here again.
